Retention Offer
Deepen an existing subscriber's investment before renewal by rewarding the habits that make leaving feel like a loss.
What it adds
The builder analyzes your usage and entitlement source files to find which behaviors separate long-tenured customers from churned ones, then builds an offer that rewards those behaviors ahead of the renewal decision. It converts by shifting the customer's mental frame from cost to accumulated position — status, saved work, unlocked capability — so renewal is the default rather than a reconsidered purchase. The conversion event is a renewal completed without a save intervention.

What your builder is told to do
8The actual instructions, in order.
-
1
Read the source files and identify the behaviors that distinguish retained customers from churned ones; the offer must reward those specific behaviors, not generic loyalty.
-
2
Build an accumulated-value summary that reflects the customer's real history from available data — what they have created, used, saved, or achieved — and time its appearance ahead of renewal, never after.
-
3
Attach a benefit that unlocks with continued tenure and is only meaningful to someone already using the product, so it cannot be arbitraged by new signups.
-
4
Add a forward-looking element: what becomes available in the next period, drawn from documented roadmap or delivery plans in the source files, so renewal buys a future and not just a continuation.
-
5
Prompt one deepening action alongside the offer — inviting a teammate, connecting a data source, completing a setup step — because breadth of use is the strongest churn predictor you can influence.
-
6
Specify layout: mobile presents the accumulated-value summary as a short stat stack with one action; tablet pairs the summary with the tenure benefit; desktop shows history, benefit, and next-period preview in one view without scrolling.
-
7
Time delivery to a defined number of days before renewal, and suppress this offer entirely for accounts already in a cancellation flow so the two experiences never collide.
-
8
Track renewal with and without exposure to this offer, and record which deepening actions were completed.

- A customer has low usage and little accumulated value to show: switch to a re-onboarding path rather than displaying an empty summary.
- The customer is on a fixed contract with no renewal decision: suppress the offer until the term-end window.
- Data required for the summary is partially missing: display only verified figures and omit the rest silently.
- The customer has already cancelled auto-renewal: route to the cancellation save path instead.
- Multi-seat accounts: address the billing owner while summarizing team-wide value.

- Rewarded behaviors are derived from retention patterns documented in the source files.
- The accumulated-value summary uses only real customer data with no invented figures.
- A tenure-gated benefit exists that is unavailable to new signups.
- Mobile, tablet, and desktop layouts each present the summary and action clearly.
- Delivery timing precedes renewal by a defined interval and is suppressed during cancellation flows.
- Renewal outcomes and deepening actions are tracked separately.
- The builder lists the source files used for usage and tenure data and flags unresolved data gaps.

It maps, then builds
Your agent reads the blueprint first, then builds the offer into your app around the product, audience, and stack.
Works with your stack
These blueprints are written to adapt. They tell the agent to detect your framework, match your existing design system, and use your source files instead of guessing the offer.
Need it tighter than that? Customize the offer file and tell it exactly which source docs and stack to use.
