Raise The Price

Justify a higher price by rebuilding the value case first, so the increase reads as evidence rather than as a squeeze.

What it adds

Fixes the offer priced below what it delivers, where a raw price bump would feel arbitrary to buyers. The AI builder audits the current price, deliverables, and objection notes to locate value that is delivered but never stated, then adds anchoring and specificity before the number moves. The outcome is a defensible higher price with the value case visible above the fold, not a number changed in isolation.

What your builder is told to do

7

The actual instructions, in order.

  1. 1

Inspect the source files and build a delivered-versus-stated table: every component the buyer actually receives in one column, and whether the page currently mentions it in the other. The gaps are your raw material.

  2. 2

Establish the anchor from evidence already in the files — the cost of the alternative the buyer is using today, the scope of work involved, or the span of time covered. Do not invent a comparison figure that no source file supports.

  3. 3

Separate structural changes from copy changes: structural work is repricing, changing what sits inside the price versus outside it, and adjusting payment options; copy work is naming the previously unstated components, adding the anchor, and restating the promise in specific terms.

  4. 4

Ship the value articulation first and the new number second, so the page reads as a stronger offer at a higher price rather than the same offer costing more. State the price plainly with no hedging language around it.

  5. 5

Rework the objection section to answer the price question directly, using the specificity uncovered in step one instead of generic reassurance.

  6. 6

Specify responsive behavior: on mobile, the price, what it includes, and the primary action must be reachable within two screens, with the anchor comparison stacked above the price; on tablet, anchor and price sit side by side with the inclusion list beneath; on desktop, the anchor, price, and inclusion list are visible together in a single viewport.

  7. 7

Define tracking: capture the before and after conversion rate, average order value, revenue per visitor, and refund rate, and hold the price for a full sales cycle before judging. Rollback rule — revert to the prior price if revenue per visitor falls below the pre-change baseline, or if refund rate rises above its prior level, whichever comes first.

Edge cases it handles

5

The things an agent skips when you only say "build a raise the price".

  • Do not raise the price beyond what the documented value supports; if the delivered-versus-stated table shows no unstated value, stop and report that finding instead of increasing the number.
  • Honor existing customers at their current price unless the source files state a renewal policy that says otherwise.
  • Preserve every factual claim as written; never manufacture a comparison price, a market rate, or a saving figure that is not in the source files.
  • If the offer has an active promotion or a published price in other channels, list every location that must change together so the price is never inconsistent across surfaces.
  • Do not add scarcity, a deadline, or a last-chance message to soften the increase; this recipe changes the value case, not the pressure.

Definition of done

7

Your builder is required to check every one of these before reporting the work finished.

  • A delivered-versus-stated table exists and every newly surfaced component appears in the reworked copy.
  • The anchor used is traceable to a specific line in a source file, with no invented figures.
  • Before and after prices are recorded alongside the value additions that justify the move.
  • Structural repricing and copy changes are documented separately so the copy can be kept if the price is rolled back.
  • Mobile, tablet, and desktop layouts each place the price, inclusions, and anchor in a defined arrangement.
  • Tracking metrics and a numeric rollback trigger are written down before launch.
  • The builder reports which source files it used and flags any unresolved assumption about scope or delivery cost.

How it works

  1. 1

    Copy the link

Grab the Markdown blueprint URL for this offer type.

  2. 2

    Give it to your builder

Paste it into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or whatever AI builder is already working in your app.

  3. 3

    It maps, then builds

Your agent reads the blueprint first, then builds the offer into your app around the product, audience, and stack.

Works with your stack

These blueprints are written to adapt. They tell the agent to detect your framework, match your existing design system, and use your source files instead of guessing the offer.

Need it tighter than that? Customize the offer file and tell it exactly which source docs and stack to use.
